Tomorrow begins the first ever #weekendwriters Challenge over on Twitter.
Join us at 7-8am CDT for an hour of writing motivation and sprints ALONG with getting to know fellow writers!
Whether you just want to get in the daily habit of writing, or be able to finally get rid of those nasty excuses for finishing that novel, we can help you set aside ONE hour of time each Saturday and Sunday morning.
Even if you have no clue what to write, I will be supplying a writing prompt to help get your creative juices flowing. Every week there will be four phrases that you can either use in dialogue, characters, setting, or plot. It’s all up to you and your writing practice needs!
This Week’s Writing Prompt:
If you’re someone like me who needs a little pressure in getting things done, this challenge can help you to get focused on your goals and finally be able to say that you finished a project. Whether it’s a manuscript, poem, or journal entry, utilize this time to help yourself become one with your writing and get to know more members of this awesome writing community.
We all have busy schedules, but remember this motivational quote:
“Write a page a day, only 300 words, and in a year, you have written a novel.”
– Stephen King
I hope to see you over on Twitter tomorrow morning, so get your writing tools ready because we’re going to have a lot of fun!
Until next time..
