Hello fellow Writers!
My name is Kat, and I am a huge reader who has recently found a drive in writing my own book!
You may know me from over on Treestand Book Reviews which is a Young Adult Book Blog full of my favorite stories and bookish posts that you will definitely inspire you to cozy up with a good book.
Over the last few years, I have slowly found myself watching countless hours of AuthorTube videos, writing vlogs, and just overall writing advice videos. Since I recently graduated college I have found more time to invest in this amazing story idea that has brewing away in my head.
And then I thought, why not create a writing version of my book blog??
And that is how Kat Writes a Book was born.
I wanted to not only document my journey but also create a motivational tool to help me through the process.
Like they always say, if you have a goal, TELL SOMEONE!! Not only does it increase the chances of reaching that goal, but it also allows others to keep you accountable while motivating you along the way.
Yes, that means you can be my writing buddies! :)
With this blog, I hope to also inspire other writers who may have that nagging feeling or self-doubts in starting a similar journey. Because let me tell you that other than one really good high school English class, I have relatively no writing background and this is more of a by-the–seat-of-my-pants ordeal.
But that’s OK, even the greatest writers started somewhere.
So why not start NOW!!
